My old L65 Camaro had a Saginaw 4 speed in it. If the motor was rated below 300 horsepower (such as the 275 to 300 horse 327) it got a Saginaw if a four sped was ordered. Last month when driving it would be hard to put in 1st gear, a week ago the shift from 1-2 would be hard and sometimes grind, now I don't have reverse, 1st and second gear but I do have 3-4.
