For those of you that practice this, here's my question on what you would do or how much product to use. First, fertilizer is spread after bean crop being rotated to corn. No fertilizer applied after corn going to beans. Let's say the beans in 2023 made 70 bu/A. Central Illinois. In the early eighties we were running an eight row wide planter over 2,000 acres of corn. We went to the Purdue Workshop and couldn't quite justify a 24 row planter, but Howard Doster gave us the confidence to go for it. As luck would have it, Deere had just came out with the MaxEmerge 2 planters.If tank-mixing Accent with atrazine, always use the crop oil - never use the surfactant. If tank-mixing Accent with Banvel, always use the surfactant - never use the crop oil. Notice that Option/Equip specifically states to use the methylated seed oil - not crop oil. I used to do that planting alfalfa with a JD Van Brunt drill. I let the oats nurse crop go down the seed tube but let the alfalfa spill without a seed tube to the opener path.
