One popular way is to follow an Eidolon and tickle it with your Mote Amp. This causes the Eidolon to summon plenty of Vomvalysts. Just keep following the Eidolon and you should get a good number. If the Eidolon keeps killing you, your frame is probably not strong enough to do a full hunt anyway.
