Cummins 250hp 4 BTA diesel power with Twin Disc gears only 700 hrs, engines are original to boat. Cruises 26-28 knots with 16 gal/hr burn total 250 gallon tank.Everyone refers to the gas boats as so bad on fuel. My 28 full of gas with 5 people and gear on it burns on average 26.5 GPH total at a 28 knot cruise. That number is from the flo-scan that I check each time I refuel.
