So the passanger seat working with no problems. But when I connect drivers seat, it doesnt work, I just hear motors clicking. Because on drivers seat I can see 3 wires ...Measure the distance between the bolts holding the seat rails to the floor of your E46 seats, and confirm that the e36 have the same spacing. Then I would confirm that all of the electrical connectors (heated, power, etc) are the same on both seats. If that's all good, I can't see there being a problem. Good luck.
