About 1000 miles ago I would get the occasional “rumble strip” sound and vibration at highway speeds, then it started to become constant. Took it to a mechanic and he said it was the torque ...So I went for a drive with the mechanic to recreate the shudder while the car was plugged to the computer. To literally find out within two minutes that the Torque Converter is slipping. Whenever the car was trying to push more torque without downshifting the clutches were slipping. That's when the load is highest and misfire tends to show up at higher loads. I suggest you replace the torque converter.
