E40 2 fan setup ECM pinouts. I have an E40 ECM and I am trying to get 2 discrete fans to work. Fan #1 is connected to C3 pin 36 and works fine. My wire diagram does not show where Fan two should be connected. Does anyone know what pin to use for fan #2. My plan is to mount the ECM in the engine compartment and only send the required circuits to the inside of the car.Here's a list of the pins but they are also on the wiring diagrams above. A1- grn/wht- this wire is used to energize the fuel pump relay. A2- not used. A3- not used. A4- gry- to EGR relay. (optional) This is a ground from the ECM to control the EGR relay. A5- brn/wht- SES (service eng soon) light.
