Hi Langmuir Systems Forum Members-We excited to be releasing FireControl 21.1 to the LS Community! As more and more customers are using their CrossFire CNC Machines for production work, we want to release new versions of our FireControl software to a smaller group before a larger general release. Commercial ones typically swap the Y-axis stepper connection for a connection to the rotary attachment's stepper motor. But there are designs where the rotary attachment is passive. What really sets it apart from the PrintNC is the spindle; the standard spindle on a PrintNC is a 1.5 - 2hp unit that spins at 18,000 - 24,000 rpm.
