Losing mucus plug at 33 weeks
I have been losing mine since 36 weeks, it was consistently losing it for 2 weeks then nothing. But I guess your body slowly regenerates it. I started losing it again at 39 weeks and I have 40weeks 4 days now. So I don’t think it necessarily means labor is near unless you have the bloody show with itFollowing. 40+6, 4cm & 80% today and just got my 2nd sweep. Think I had some bloody show just now. Irregular contractions x2 days. As for mucus plug, pretty sure I’ve been losing it over the last week. Thought I lost it last week (after 1st sweep), but pretty sure it regenerated and I lost it again.

At my anatomy scan (20-22 weeks) I was diagnosed with a short cervix (2.3-2.4cm) and I started to take progesterone suppositories. Thankfully, they have been successful and around my 28th week I was measured again and was measuring at a “normal” length but I was advised to still take my progesterone until I am 36 weeks.
