For those of you who don't know it.Those Warn winches they market as made in USA are actually half breeds assembled in US with some domestic and some import parts which includes the heart of the beast the motor.Before purchase I had done some research on this which included calling Warn HQ and was told they were made in USA ...I was told that the 2 motor for the 8274 would work if you used the original gear for the m8200, also acording to minisota 4 wheel drive center the 8200 with the drum brake is a beleview and the one with the disk brake is the one that warn sold for 9 months in 1974 then they changed the design and the 8274 was born.
