Just started a new save using Superb Survivors for the first time. Right away, I could tell there were way too many survivors on default settings. I had two NPCs on the same street as me and they scoured the houses down to nothing. Not sure how they're able to carry all that stuff. I started setting up a base in a nearby self storage facility. Turned my 3 week long survivor record into a bully corner that meant inevitable, unavoidable stunlocking death. They are spawning as part of the players group, you can summon them around like you would your own group as well. Which does mean you can call them over to a bunch of zombies.The AI of the survivors can be rough around the edges when it comes to defending themselves against zombies or chatting to each other but they are definitely able to help a lot around your base and make the world feel more alive (lol). The mod author has put a lot of work into the survivors code and it shows. Lowered Npc spawn to extremely low or whatever the lowest setting is. Get Subpar Survivors. Sadly, there's currently no real alternative to it if you want NPCs in your game. Not that I'm personally aware of, anyway. 4.I like the mod. And the best settings I found for me so far are, suvivors spawn rate at the lowest. 5% or 0% chance of spawning with guns (because there is always a guy with a shotgun making noise at 2 in the morning attracting zeds).
