Marlin Crawler's bell housing specifically made to mate the R series transmission (R150/R151 pre 96) that came with spacers to match the longer input shaft of the 96+ R150 has been discontinued. As far as I know, up to '83 4x4 used the "L" series, '84 & '85 used the "G" series, and newer than that uses the "W" series, with an "R" series being used for the turbo trucks and the V6 trucks which have R151F and R150F, respectively (these are all manual gearboxes).
It should be fairly easy to identify which series of transmission you have (H55, H15x, R15x) just by looking at it. The H55 is a cast iron case transmission, the H15x and R15x transmissions have ribbed aluminum cases with a cast iron intermediate plate. Picked up an R150F trans and removed the tailshaft housing. Swapped the R151F tailshaft housing and output shaft collar on and the Marlin Crawler bellhousing.
