I've got a quote I'm mulling over from Folbeck 4X4 in Reno to do my gears, e-lockers and front axles. They're using Sierra gears and axles. Any experience with Sierra gears or axles? FWIW, their quote was $6900.00 out the door parts and labor. Front and rear diff's. Thoughts, opinions?Im betting that you have a Solenoid problem. Im also betting you can change just one solenoid, since you have all forward gears. Hopefully its just one. You will be disappointed with 4.10s. 4.56s will put you just a bit better than stock. My buddy has 5.13s and 35s with a 4.8/4 speed and its great. Measuring old crush spacer, new crush spacer (as supplied by Sierra) and solid spacer (with all shims supplied in place). With the increased distance of 0.083" and the original 1.860" it is safe to assume we need a spacer of 1.943" minimum thickness. Notice the supplied crush spacer is almost exactly 0.01" short.
