The only thing that would need to be done is swap the under hood wiring harness and pdc (fuse box) for the diesel.For anyone wondering, there are some differences, but the 2019 engine runs awesome in my 2011. Differences I remember off the top of my head. 1. Turbo/lower intake/passenger manifold. Two options here, use the 2019 stuff and retune your truck (I did this), or reuse your 11-14 passenger manifold, turbo, lower intake. 2.Honestly both the 1.9l and 2.0l TDI engine are MORE than powerful enough for our TJs.
