On Friday, May 31, 1985, a tornado outbreak hit Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, and Ontario. A total of 44 tornadoes were recorded that day and 14 of them landed in Ontario. Most notably a baseball coach, (I don’t recall his name), as the tornado was approaching took two kids he was coaching and threw them into a ditch and laid on top of them sparing their lives but losing his own. Pretty crazy. You can still see the path the tornado took. New builds and new short trees.
