After purchase of some FiberwerX b...We removed the bed to replace the fuel pump in the gas tank. We also had to disconnect the electrical for the tail lights and the bolts holding the gas cap/tube before pulling the bed off. I would be surprised if it was more than 6 bolts for a short bed.
