Mar 24, 2016 · Waterworks is totally worth the while. You get really good gear and its free. Alot of people always say that waterworks is a waste of time and to much of a grind, i disagree here is why. There are alot of player out there who buy crowns and open packs to get crown gear, i for one and one of those people. Arc 2 is notorious for having a massive drought of worthwhile gear, at least last time I played through it. You can easily make do with Waterworks gear all the way up until you unlock Darkmoor and Exalted Duels. If you wanted to you could farm Chronus/Gladiator for a solid level 90 athame/ring, but otherwise WW will hold you over until level 100.

Most of the Waterworks gear is a little better on stats, but it takes a while to get it, so you can craft the WT set, then upgrade to WW as you get it. There's absolutely no reason to nerf it, it's really not all that great anyways. It's only slightly better than Wintertusk crafted gear. I skipped getting WW gear on my latest wizard and it didn't hurt me at all.
