This method of mounting puts a lot of stress on the U-bolts and adds unnecessary hardware hanging down from the frame. If that hardware gets hit and shifted on rocks, it could get sketchy relying on three U-bolts to hold your truck up.

Got these White Knuckle Off Road rock sliders with steps so the kids (4 and 8 year old) could climb in. They’re true frame mounted which is rare. Does not mount on the body or pinch seam or even the body-mount bolts. Straight on the ladder frame of the Jeep with no welding...just bolt on!
