Dec 5, 2018 · Received 273 Likes on 213 Posts. Our 2019 Lariat Ultimate center console has a light in the front storage cubby along with the illuminated USB ports. The cup holders are also illuminated. However, the rectangular storage bin on the left side of the console is not illuminated.In mine with the light on, all the radio and A/C controls light up, except for the rear window defroster button. The gear selector lights up. The heated seats buttons light up, and the traction control button lights up too. If you are worried about removing the wood piece in the center console to access the wiring, it's really easy.I disassembled the center console to diagnose it. There is a little transformer directly underneath (connecting to) the light strip. Mine works fine until the transformer gets warm at which point it stops outputting power (voltage). I haven't been able to purchase a transformer separately; looks like I'll be buying a whole new shift console.
